Exceptional Vision, Integrity, and Innovation In Real Estate and Healthcare Technology

Terry Wolter, President and Chief Operating Officer, whose forward-thinking approach and steadfast work ethic continue to drive the company’s success in private equity development and health-focused innovation.

With over two decades of experience in real estate, construction, and corporate operations, Wolter has been instrumental in advancing Granger Group’s mission to create exceptional developments that prioritize community well-being and long-term value.

Wolter joined Granger Group in 2019 as Director of Development after a successful tenure as Vice President of Properties & Procurement at Meijer. In that role, he led large-scale retail growth initiatives, laying the groundwork for his leadership in high-performance property management and operational execution.

As President and COO, Wolter oversees all aspects of Granger Group’s development pipeline, property management operations, and investment strategy. Under his leadership, the company has completed several major projects across Michigan and the Midwest, including the Reserve Flats multifamily community in Wyoming, MI—a development designed to address the growing demand for quality housing.

“Terry leads with a rare combination of humility, drive, and clarity,” said Gary Granger, Founder/CEO. “His commitment to excellence and his ability to inspire high-performance teams have been crucial in propelling our vision forward.”

Wolter’s leadership is marked by more than just operational excellence. He brings a strategic vision for the future of real estate—one that incorporates health technology, smart design, and sustainable community development. With an eye on evolving demographics and healthcare trends, he is championing projects that integrate wellness infrastructure into residential and commercial developments.

“Real estate has the potential to be much more than physical space,” said Wolter. “We’re building environments that promote health, enable innovation, and support meaningful community connections.”

Wolter is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, receiving his Master's, and obtained his Bachelor's from Michigan Tech.   Terry remains active in regional planning, business development, and economic growth initiatives. He continues to position Granger Group as a leader at the intersection of real estate, technology, and human-centered design.
