Terry Wolter is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Granger Group, where he leads development strategy, construction execution, property management operations, investment planning, and organizational performance across the firm’s growing real estate platform. He brings more than two decades of experience in real estate, construction, facilities management, and corporate operations, with a leadership approach centered on operational discipline, long-term value creation, and community-focused development.

 

Prior to joining Granger Group, Terry served as Vice President of Properties and Procurement at Meijer, where he led new store growth, existing store renovations, facilities maintenance, procurement strategy, and large-scale capital planning across the company’s retail, distribution, and manufacturing assets. In that role, he oversaw significant annual capital budgets, operating expenses, and departmental resources while supporting one of the Midwest’s largest retail organizations.

 

Since joining Granger Group in 2019, Terry has played a key role in advancing the company’s development pipeline across Michigan and the Midwest. He oversees deal development, construction activities, and property management for dozens of assets, including more than 1 million square feet of existing real estate and more than 2 million square feet currently in development for owners and investors.

 

Throughout his career, Terry has focused on building high-performing teams, improving operational systems, and creating efficiencies that strengthen outcomes for investors, partners, tenants, and communities. His work has helped support major Granger Group projects, including multifamily developments designed to meet growing demand for quality housing.

 

Terry earned his M.B.A. from Grand Valley State University and his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He remains active in regional planning, business development, and economic growth initiatives.
